1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TaskNotify and related services, tools, applications, and features operated under the 17labs brand (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
TaskNotify is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects AI assistants such as ChatGPT to Telegram. Once connected and paired, the assistant can send you a Telegram message when it determines there is something worth telling you — for example, from a recurring task that would otherwise notify you on every run regardless of outcome.
The Service is designed to help users:
- pair a Telegram chat with an assistant session in one click, without exchanging tokens manually
- receive real-time Telegram messages, with rich formatting, only when the assistant decides a message is warranted
- avoid being notified on empty or no-op runs of recurring assistant tasks
The Service does not control what the assistant decides to send, when it decides to send it, or the accuracy of any message content — that determination is made by the AI assistant platform you are using, not by 17labs.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly permit individuals under 13 to use the Service.
4. Accounts & Access
Access to the Service is provided through third-party assistant platforms (such as ChatGPT) and through Telegram. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any credentials or platform accounts used to access the Service, including your Telegram account.
17labs does not control third-party authentication, assistant platforms, or Telegram, and is not responsible for their availability, behavior, or security.
5. Message Content & Delivery
Messages sent through the Service are generated by the AI assistant you are using and relayed to your paired Telegram chat. We do not review, edit, or store the content of these messages before or after delivery.
We do not guarantee:
- the accuracy, timeliness, or appropriateness of any message content generated by the assistant
- that a message will be sent when you expect one, or that one will not be sent when you do not
- uninterrupted delivery through Telegram’s infrastructure
6. Pairing & Security
Pairing links generated by the Service are time-limited and intended for single use by the account holder. You are responsible for not sharing pairing links with others, since anyone who completes pairing with a given link will receive messages intended for that account.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for personal, lawful, and reasonable purposes.
You may not:
- use the Service to send spam, harassment, or unsolicited bulk messages
- use bots or automated systems to abuse the Service or the pairing flow
- reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code or internal logic
- circumvent technical safeguards or usage limits
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or related systems
Usage limits may apply and may change over time.
8. Early Access / Beta Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an early-access, experimental, or beta basis. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of availability, performance, or accuracy.
9. Availability, Limits & Changes
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued, in whole or in part, at any time.
Technical or usage limits may apply and may be adjusted as the Service evolves.
10. Third-Party Platforms and Services
The Service relies on third-party platforms and services, including:
- AI assistant platforms (such as ChatGPT)
- Telegram
- cloud infrastructure providers
- analytics, support, and security vendors
Your use of third-party platforms is subject to their respective terms and policies. 17labs is not responsible for third-party services and does not control their availability or behavior.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is intended for general notification-relay purposes only. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and message content reflects the assistant that generated it, not 17labs.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 17labs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, savings, or use arising out of or related to the Service.
This includes losses arising from missed, delayed, or inaccurate notifications.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 17labs from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or that continued access poses a risk to the Service, third parties, or other users.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
IMPORTANT: Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, and you waive any right to participate in a class action. Claims eligible for small claims court may be brought there instead.
